Sus­tain­abil­i­ty Re­port 2024

The in­sur­ance in­dus­try's fifth sus­tain­abil­i­ty re­port pro­vides in­for­ma­tion on the wide range of mea­sures tak­en by the in­dus­try in the ar­eas of en­vi­ron­men­tal, eco­nom­ic and so­cial sus­tain­abil­i­ty.

The self-reg­u­la­tion to pre­vent green­wash­ing adopt­ed by the Swiss In­sur­ance As­so­ci­a­tion SIA (here­inafter ‘self-reg­u­la­tion’) came in­to force on 1 Jan­u­ary 2025.

In­sur­ers are ma­jor in­sti­tu­tion­al in­vestors with a long-term in­vest­ment hori­zon and a pref­er­ence for safe­ty.
