At the ‘In­sur­ers’ Day’ event in Bern, SIA chair­man Ste­fan Mäder ap­pealed for per­son­al ac­count­abil­i­ty and called on the guests from the fields of pol­i­tics and ad­min­is­tra­tion to ad­vo­cate for a mar­ket

Our team en­sures con­nec­tiv­i­ty to the SIA mem­bers, its ad-hoc bod­ies and its ex­ter­nal stake­hold­ers. 

Switzer­land’s pri­vate in­sur­ance in­dus­try is one of the most im­por­tant and pro­duc­tive sec­tors of the na­tion­al econ­o­my.

In 2023, Swiss pri­vate in­sur­ers’ pre­mi­um vol­ume once again ex­pe­ri­enced pleas­ing growth, ac­cord­ing to pro­jec­tions by the Swiss In­sur­ance As­so­ci­a­tion SIA. 

The mem­ber com­pa­nies of the SIA ac­count for more than 85 per­cent of the pre­mi­ums gen­er­at­ed in the Swiss mar­ket.

Berkley Schweiz to join the SIA. We would like to wel­come the in­sur­ance com­pa­ny to the in­dus­try as­so­ci­a­tion for Swiss pri­vate in­sur­ers.

The head of­fice acts as a cen­tre of ex­cel­lence and hub to en­sure the smooth func­tion­ing of the as­so­ci­a­tion.

The del­e­gates of the Swiss In­sur­ance As­so­ci­a­tion SIA elect­ed Ste­fan Mäder, chair­man of the Board of Di­rec­tors of Mo­bil­iar, as their new chair­man at their An­nu­al Gen­er­al Meet­ing in Basel.
