The SIA welcomes Peak Re as its newest member
Peak Reinsurance AG has now become a member of the Swiss Insurance Association (SIA). The SIA would like to welcome this reinsurer to the industry association for Swiss private insurers.
A new member has joined the Swiss Insurance Association as of 1 July 2022: Peak Reinsurance AG. The Managing Board voted to approve the company’s membership in late April. ‘We are delighted to welcome another reinsurer to our number, expanding the group of insurers working together for the future of Switzerland as a financial hub,’ says Urs Arbter, SIA CEO.
Peak Re
Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Zurich, this reinsurance company is a subsidiary of Peak Reinsurance Company Limited, an international firm based in Hong Kong. Thanks to its combined presence in Zurich and Hong Kong, Peak Re maintains an underwriting platform in the European markets and, by extension, offers a range of services that meet European requirements.
