Insurance companies cut red tape, expedite help
Swiss private insurance companies feel deeply the immeasurable suffering caused by the earthquake/tsunami in Southeast Asia.
Zurich, 5 January 2005 – Many residents of Switzerland also fell victim to this horrible natural calamity, suffered physical or mental injury or incurred property loss. Humanitarian aid – and the location and identification of the missing – are now the major emphasis.
Survivors of the tragedy, as well as the families and loved ones of the victims, can count on fast assistance from their insurers, without red tape. Insurance companies will process incoming claims as rapidly as possible. At present, no estimate of total losses can be made.
